Bar Mitzvah in the community

Synagogue worshipers are happy to host the Bar Mitzvah groom and his family to attend the community’s Shabbat prayer. It is customary for the groom of the bar mitzvah to sing the song of honor with the audience and then to be honored by publishing the Torah scroll from the ark. The Bar Mitzvah groom is honored by reciting the mufti and haftarah of the week. Before the Mussaf prayer, one of the synagogue worshipers demands in this week's Torah portion in honor of the Bar Mitzvah groom. On behalf of the worshipers of the Wahl Synagogue, we wish you good luck and much satisfaction from your son
